The Art of the Picture Book conference encourages collaboration between educators, librarians, artists, publishers, editors, aspiring writers or illustrators, and anyone interested in picture books. Art may be interpreted to include the fine art of illustration, as well as the art of conceiving just the right text and layout of a book.
