Lake George, New York, a very favorite place...
I have been at Ashland University full time since the Fall of 2001.  I am retiring from the Columbus Center at  Dublin-Granville Road in Columbus, Ohio, effective July 12, 2008.

I plan to travel  and spend more time this winter in Florida.   Lots of golf  to be attempted.

To all those students over the years with whom I have had the opportunity to work, keep working hard to improve the lot of those most needy students.  I have loved working with all of you.

I am  completing my work this summer at the Columbus Center.

I have no plans to teach  during the 2008-09 academic year.

Do you have a favorite teacher?  Someone whom you think about often?  Do them and you a favor, contact that teacher and let them know how they continue to connect with you.
My primary interests will continue to be  with teachers,  teaching and the curriculum of our schools. I believe the work of educating others is to be the most important work there is to do, while being among the most difficult of tasks to accomplish well.
