Dining & Conference Facilities at AU
Ashland University has a number of outstanding facilities available for groups or organizations planning banquets, workshops, conferences, seminars, conventions or camps. The University services a wide variety of constituents, including educational, business, religious and/or athletic groups.
| Dining Services Ashland University's Student Dining is an award winning nationally recognized dining program. The newly renovated dining hall caters to about 2,400 students daily. The dining facility was designed in the style of a "Food Court" featuring fresh pasta, rotisserie chicken, sizzling salads, eggs to order and much more. The Dining Hall is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., MOnday through Friday and on Saturday and Sunday with a brunch from 11:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and dinner from 4:15 to 6:30 p.m. Summer hours may vary depending upon customer needs. |

Catering &
Conferences Most catered events are held in the 20,000-square-foot, air-conditioned John C. Myers Convocation Center. The largest banquet facility between Cleveland and Columbus offers six rooms for hosting your event with a variety of configurations possible. The rooms range from seating for six at a table arrangement to theatre style seating for 2,000. All of the amenities for adding the right touch to any corporate meeting, wedding reception, class reunion, conference, seminar, family reunion or any other type of event is available by just making one phone call. A special area of focus for this development is the summer conference season, which runs from mid-May to mid-August. An average of 35 groups a summer visit our campus, ranging from church camps to cheerleading groups and everything in between. The conferences range in size from 50 to 2,200 participants. All accommodations from meals, housing, meeting space, etc. are handled through the Catering and Conferences Department. The University has six residence halls which provide housing for more than 1,400 people. Another aspect of the Dining and Conference services is the Accent Room which offers fine dining to the public. The 100-seat restaurant is open Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and for Sunday Brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Display cooking is a special feature that is offered to customers. |
