Instructional Laboratories at Ashland University

Classes have small numbers of students so that the professor can interact with all students. Classrooms are designed for conducting lectures, discussions, & collaborative activites. They contain an instructor's station equipped with the newest smartboard technology, sound system, wireless microphone, document camera, and audio/visial equipment (computer, DVD, VCR).
Kettering Science Center is equipped with wireless internet connection. Classrooms can easily be converted into a computer laboratory with laptop carts that are available for faculty.

Conference style classrooms are available for small-group discussions and meetings	Classrooms are designed to accomodate 24-32 students. AU's "Accent on the Individual" guarantees an excellent student to facutly ratio in the classroom.
A tutoring center enables students to obtain the extra help they need to succeed.	Breakout rooms in our lobby are available as private study rooms or meeting spaces for faculty and students.
Students can gather in a student lounge, equpped with a microwave oven, sink, and refrigerator.	Kettering's foyer is a great social gathering space.
A vending area with cafe-style seating is available.	Hallways display students' research presentations.
Faculty offices are located in a central office suite. Faculty are always available to give students the extra help they need to succeed.	Even our laboratories were designed as teaching spaces.
