Susan
J. Guiher-Huff, Writing Center Director and Instructor of English,
received a Bachelor of Arts at Bowling Green State University and
a Masters of Curriculum at Ashland College. Sue has been director
of the University Writing Center since 1991. Her work
has been published in the NCTE and various travel magazines.
Sue's research interest is in early European and Native American
literary reference to medicinal plants and herbs. The Huffs have
traveled 300,000 miles by motorcycle throughout the UK, central
Europe,and all of North America.
The Writing Center assists students in developing writing in response
to assignments from all disciplines. Programs within the Writing
Center include a Writing Lab for Comp I, Writing Fellows for College
of Business, a Writing Specialist for graduate programs, and interdisciplinary
