BACHELOR OF ARTS (B.A.)

  • 33 hours of psychology courses
  • Minor or second major
  • University language requirement

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (B.S.)

  • 33 hours of psychology courses
  • 30 hours of physical sciences in biology, chemistry, and mathematics
  • No language requirement
  • No minor requirement

Within the B.A. or B.S. degrees, students may choose either a career track or general track of coursework. The career track is highly recommended for students planning on graduate training. The general track is offered for students with an interest in psychology who have no plans for graduate training. This general track is often taken in conjunction with other majors or programs.

  • Elementary Statistics
  • Research Methods in Psychology
  • Advanced Research in Psychology
  • History and Systems of Psychology
  • Anatomy & Physiology
18 hours of upper level psychology courses from:

  • personality
  • tests & measurements
  • physiological
  • learning

GENERAL TRACK REQUIREMENTS:

  • General Psychology 101and 102
  • Elementary Statistics
  • Research Methods in Psychology
  • 21 additional hours of psychology courses

PSYCHOLOGY MINOR REQUIREMENTS:

  • General Psychology 101 and 102
  • 12 additional hours of psychology courses
