Concentration Requirement for Majors

All religion majors are required to choose a "concentration."
There are 4 areas of concentration (listed below). In addition
to the current General Program Requirements listed above, majors
must take a total of nine hours in one area of concentration.
The student is encouraged to fulfill their 400 level requirement
in their area of concentration.

C. Religion Thesis Seminar
All majors are required to take the Thesis Seminar course during their senior year. This course is a senior seminar in which students will prepare their Majors Thesis. Upon completion of this thesis, students will receive the three hours credit for Thesis Seminar.
D. Majors Thesis
All majors are required to write a Majors Thesis of no less than 30 pages in their area of concentration. The approval of this thesis by the religion department will be a requirement for graduation. Explicit and detailed requirements are available from academic advisor.
