Let our students take you on a journey through the soul….Our years of entertaining make us the ideal choice for you next special occasion; shows are appropriate for all ages. Performances include a variety of solos, duets, and group numbers crossing a variety of styles and periods. Our shows include traditional Broadway tunes as well as contemporary Broadway hits such as Hairspray, Wicked, Rent, and Aida. Listen to our students rejoice over newfound love, lament broken hearts, and celebrate friendship.
History
Dr. Paula Thompson founded the group in 1990; she faithfully led the group until her departure from Ashland University in 1999. Following Dr. Thompson, Dr. Teresa Durbin-Ames led the group until spring of 2006. After six years of loyal service, the torch was passed to Heather Corwin, former Assistant Professor of Theatre, and now to Assistant Professor of Theatre Fabio Polanco. Students audition and compete to be cast in this prestigious group. No other opportunity is offered within Ashland University to perform songs publicly in so many venues.
