1. CATALOG DESCRIPTION:
Introduces the business student to the legal principles involved with contract law, real property, personal property, bailment law and agency law.
2. CONTENT OF COURSE:
Overview of the legal system; courts and procedure
Contracts
Agency
Torts
Property
3. COURSE OBJECTIVES:
Critical thought process through the examination of law and logic. Develop the student’s basic ability to recognize legal contact by business in its activity and whether to seek legal counsel. Prepare those students who are accounting majors to take the C.P.A. exam. Also prepare other business majors to identify and respond to legal issues.
