Facilities
Ashland University's Hotel & Restaurant Management Program provides students the opportunity to learn in state-of-the-art facilities.
The Richard E. and Sandra J. Dauch College of Business and Economics building, which includes the Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurial Studies wing, opened for classes in January of 2004. This 60,000-square-foot building serves as the home for the Hotel & Restaurant Program as well as business administration, economics and MBA programs.
The building features a state-of-the-art trading room with Wall Street style workstations and wall-mounted displays with market news for Ashland University's student investment group, an executive education center, computer labs, tiered lecture hall and product development lab.
Richard Dauch said it best when he noted that this home provides the physical architecture needed to deliver a team-based, innovative, world-class education for the business leaders of tomorrow.
The hands-on lab experiences take place in the nationally recognized award winning John C. Myers Convocation Center. This 65,000-square-foot building is home to the award-winning student dining hall, Accent Room Restaurant and conference and banquet facilities. Working with the Dining and Conferences department provides our students with opportunities they won't get anywhere else.
