Accent on Success helps first year students adjust to the academic and social demands of collegiate life, by reinforcing study skills and habits and becoming active and participating members of Ashland University’s learning community. Students focus on adjusting to the collegiate experience, exploring the opportunities and expectations of college life, reflecting on the nature of liberal arts, and learning about possible degree paths. The course also is designed to help students explore opportunities at Ashland University for personal and professional, as well as, academic growth and assist them in finding their place in the world by exploring various career/degree paths.
