The Accent Room’s “Gourmet Dinner Series” began in the year 2000. The concept is to have friends of the University come to the Accent Room 6 to 8 times a year for upscale theme dinners, music, and fun.
The whole idea has taken off and we have now have numerous “regulars” who come every time a dinner is scheduled. Past themes have included: French Creole, Italian, An Evening in Paris, Wild Game and the ever popular Valentine’s Day Dinner - with enough chocolate to please even the sweetest tooth.
The dinners have also been fun and creative for Ashland’s Award-Winning Culinary Team. The menus, themes and presentation of the dinners all come from our team of chefs. It has given the team an outlet to prepare and present different cuisines that many of our customers would not normally select. The dinners have been a win-win situation for customers and staff.
