Description of work to be done:
The Communications Coordinator will be a member of the Ashbrook Center's fundraising team and work at the Ashbrook Center's offices on the Ashland University campus.
Responsibilities will include the following:
-Implement a marketing and communications plan that will increase the visibility of the Ashbrook Center to help meet outreach and fundraising goals.
-Oversee the development of all of the Center's marketing and communications materials, including brochures, newsletters and websites. (The position is not responsible for student recruitment materials.)
No previous communications experience is necessary. Training will be provided. Position offers an excellent opportunity to begin a career in development, communications and marketing.

A successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
-Deep commitment to the Ashbrook Center's mission to educate students, teachers and citizens about the enduring principles of constitutional self-government.
-Ability to broadly champion Ashbrook to both current and potential supporters
-Strong writing and editing skills
-Experience working with Word, Excel and mail merges
