Employment Verification

Requests for employment verification in writing or by telephone should be directed to the Human Resources Records department. Most requests will be processed within 24-48 hours. The university only maintains records for the past seven years for employees who are no longer actively employed. The following information will be provided:

  • Dates of employment
  • Job title

HR has a dedicated telephone line for employment verifications at 419.289.5069.

Workers' Compensation

All employees are covered under workers’ compensation insurance, which provides for benefits in case of certain on-the-job injuries.

Each person is required to report any occupational accident or illness to the appropriate supervisor immediately. Record of Occupational Injury and Illness forms, which are used to report any occurrence of an on-the-job accident, are available in the Human Resources Office.

Vision Information

Annual Enrollment will be held April 14 - May 9, 2014. Benefit changes will become effective June 1, 2014. Please see the Human Resources section of myAU portal for enrollment information.

›IRS Maximum Contribution to Flexible Spending Accounts
The IRS has set the maximum contribution to a Medical FSA at $2,500 for 2014. The Dependent Care maximum will remain $5,000.
