The 1-2-3’s of getting here.
We encourage students to apply early. You can apply anytime after your junior year of high school. It’s easy. Just follow these six steps:
- Complete this online application.
- Ask your high school guidance counselor to send us an official copy of your high school transcript, test scores and class rank. Official transcripts that do not include your full and final junior year grades will not be accepted. Also include a list of your senior year courses. (G.E.D. results are accepted.)
- If you participated in a post-secondary option program (took college level courses during high school), ask the registrar at the college/university you attended to send an official transcript to our Ashland University Office of Admission. *
- If you take another standardized test, please elect to send your scores to Ashland University using these codes: ACT 3234; SAT 1021.
- Upon high school graduation, your high school guidance counselor must send your final transcript to the Ashland University Office of Admissions.
- Ohio residents must provide results of the Ohio Graduation Test to the Ashland University Office of Admission.
* College credit will be granted for any college-level coursework taken in high school in which you received a C- or better. Also, we grant college credit for Advanced Placement (AP) coursework, depending on the score you received on the AP test.
