APOLLO'S FIRE presents SACRUM MYSTERIUM: A CELTIC CHRISTMAS

With a Gaelic prayer, a candle is lit and a sacred procession is launched. Jeanette Sorell’s new celebration of Celtic artistic traditions interweaves renaissance choral music with ancient pagan carols, folk dances and joyous fiddle tunes. Featuring soprano Meredith Hall as well as bagpipes, flutes, Celtic harp and the exquisite Apollo’s Singers.

FIVE BY DESIGN presents CLUB SWING

Enchanting audiences by deftly blending music and theatrics effortlessly, Club Swing celebrates the songs, events and personalities that defined American popular culture during the Swing era from the frenetic-paced opening of Benny Goodman’s “Bugle Call Rag” to the show’s blockbuster finale of Louis Prima’s “Sing, Sing, Sing.” So check your coat and grab a seat for a night of unparalleled delight at the fabulous Club Swing!

ELEONE DANCE THEATRE presents UP THE ROAD A-PIECE

This Philadelphia-based professional dance company presents modern dance that is “passionate, spirited and totally urban.” Embodying exceptional artistry and a profound sense of spirituality, Eleone presents the Ohio-premiere of Dianne McIntyre’s Up the Road a-Piece with music by the Carolina Chocolate Drops. In seven vignettes, the dancers weave tales of joy, heartache and neighborly bonds.
