With a Gaelic prayer, a candle is lit and a sacred procession is launched. Jeanette Sorell’s new celebration of Celtic artistic traditions interweaves renaissance choral music with ancient pagan carols, folk dances and joyous fiddle tunes. Featuring soprano Meredith Hall as well as bagpipes, flutes, Celtic harp and the exquisite Apollo’s Singers.

This Philadelphia-based professional dance company presents modern dance that is “passionate, spirited and totally urban.” Embodying exceptional artistry and a profound sense of spirituality, Eleone presents the Ohio-premiere of Dianne McIntyre’s Up the Road a-Piece with music by the Carolina Chocolate Drops. In seven vignettes, the dancers weave tales of joy, heartache and neighborly bonds.
