The office's mission is to work as the administrative arm of the Office of the President in securing private support to enrich the University's programs. This support provides a vital supplement to the regular funding base and enables the University to achieve a level of excellence that would not otherwise be possible. The Development Office seeks to foster meaningful relationships between the University and its alumni and friends throughout the world and strives to match donors' philanthropic interests with opportunities to strengthen the University and its future. |
Donor Recognition ClubsThe Glenn L. Clayton SocietyThis society is named in honor of Dr. Glenn L. Clayton's distinguished tenure as president of Ashland University. Donors of cash, stock, real estate or personal property valued at a minimum of $10,000 or more. The President's CircleAshland University's newest donor recognition club, the President's Circle, consists of a committed group of benefactors who contribute annual gifts of $5,000-$9,999. The President's ClubTraditionally, the President's Club has led the way in support of Ashland's unique approach to education. This club recognizes annual donors of $1,000-$4,999. Accent ClubThe name Accent Club reflects Ashland University's philosophy of "Accent on the Individual." Membership in the Accent Club is based on annual gifts of $500-$999. Keynoters ClubThe Keynoters Club sets the major tone for expanded giving, building on the foundation set by the 125th Anniversary Club. Membership is based on annual gifts of $250-$499. 125th Anniversary ClubThis club is truly the foundation of the Special Giving Club structure, reflecting Ashland University's 125 years of academic excellence. Donors included in the 125th Anniversary Club give annually $125-$249. |
