At Ashland University, every one gets in the game!

When it comes to sports at Ashland University, there’s something for everybody. We offer a full complement of athletics including NCAA Division II football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, track, wrestling, cross country, swimming, golf, tennis and more. More than 50 Eagle teams have placed nationally in the Top 20. Because we are a Division II institution, we can offer scholarships on athletic ability.

Staying active and enjoying healthy competition is important, but you don’t have to be a big-time athlete to get in on the fun. Ashland offers more than 20 intramural sports and 14 club sports that compete against clubs at other postsecondary institutions. More than half of Ashland University’s full-time students take part including 250-plus students who participate in sports clubs. It’s no wonder Ashland’s intramural program was rated #1 in the GLIAC, based on student participation.
