Megan McCarthy

 

Megan is a senior Finance major, with a minor in Political Science. This is Megan's fourth year dancing with the Eagle Elite Dance Team. She is from Marysville, Ohio and a 2005 graduate of Marysville High School.

On campus, Megan is an active member of the Alpha Phi Sorority, where she has held several leadership positions. She also studies as an Ashbrook scholar and as a member of the Eagle Investment Group. In conjunction with these two programs, Megan is writing an undergraduate thesis, which will aid her in pursuit of graduate school in the future.

Megan is also a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta, Delta Mu Delta, and Phi Alpha Theta academic honoraries. Upon graduation, she hopes to work with AmeriCorps VISTA for Community and Economic Development.

Megan would like to thank her parents Tom and Amy for their constant love, support, and understanding.

Neeley Meyers

 

Neeley Meyers is a senior dancer graduating in May 2009.  She will be leaving Ashland University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology.

Apart from The Eagle Elite Dance Team, Neeley is a member of the Delta Zeta Sorority, and the Beta Beta Beta Honorary Biology Fraternity. 

Being on the dance team has been the center and highlight of her time at Ashland, and will be the part of her college experience that she will miss most.

Amy Ortiz

Amy is a senior dancer at Ashland University. She will be graduating in December with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Business Administration.

This Ashland native was reluctant to audition for the Eagle Elite Dance Team, but with a little encouragement from her sister Suzy, Amy came to tryouts.

She has been in love with the team ever since. She has been a great leader and amazing performer. She will miss the dance team the most once she leaves Ashland University.

Sara Sevits

 

Sara Sevits is a senior double majoring in Criminal Justice and Sociology with a  minor in Family Studies.  She is from Mentor, Ohio and graduated from Riverside High school.  This is her fourth year on the Eagle Elite Dance Team. 

Sara is also involved on campus with Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. 

She would like to thank all of the girls on the dance team and Vicki, for all the great memories.  Sara would also like to thank her family, especially her mother and sister, for all their support throughout the years.

Mary Weidig

Mary is a senior Middle Childhood Education Major with her concentrations in Language Arts and Math. She is from Brunswick, Ohio where she graduated from Brunswick High School in 2005. Mary is a fourth year member of the Eagle Elite Dance Team.

She is a member of Delta Zeta Sorority, the Collegiate Middle Level Association, and the Kappa Delta Pi Educational Honor Society.  Mary would like to thank Vicki and all the girls for such wonderful dance team memories as well as her parents for all their love and support.
