AU Golf Team Ninth at Ferris State Invitational

The Ashland University men’s golf team placed ninth at the 12-team Ferris State Invitational, held Sept. 13-14, at the Katke Golf Club in Big Rapids, MI.

The host Bulldogs won the event with a team score of 593. Grand Valley State (594) was second and Northwood (599) claimed third place. The Eagles’ team score was 622.

Grand Valley’s Kevin Kremer shot 141 (three under par) to take medalist honors. The Eagles’ top scores were turned in by senior Matt Marino (North Ridgeville, OH) and junior Bryan Brzozowski (Seven Hills, OH/Normandy). Both finished in a tie for 20th, shooting 153.
