AU Men’s Golf Sixth at SVSU

The Ashland University men’s golf team was at the Bay Valley Intercollegiate Invitational on Saturday-Sunday, Sept. 28-29. The Eagles finished the two-day event sixth in a 10-team field.

Grand Valley State shot two-over-par, 578 to win the team title. Northwood (580) edged Saginaw Valley State (581) for second. Ashland’s final score was 604.

Northwood’s Justin Holyszko was the medalist. He shot 136. Findlay’s Kyle Weisenburger (139) was the runnerup. AU’s Bryan Brzozowski and Zack Shaffer both shot 148 and finished in a five-way tie for 16th.
