Baseball Youth Day Set for May 3

Ashland University will hold its Sixth Annual Baseball Youth Day on Saturday, May 3, at 1 p.m. at Donges Field. The event is sponsored by Samaritan Regional Health System and BW-3. The Eagles will host Saginaw Valley State in a doubleheader. A year ago, both teams advanced to the NCAA Division II playoffs.

All youngsters who register in advance will receive six free Buffalo Wild Wings and a free Coke. Youngsters will receive a free baseball team poster and a chance to win prizes between innings (hats, t-shirts, gift certificates). Tickets to a Cleveland Indians game at Jacobs Field will also be raffled off. Finally, all those in attendance will be able to attend an autograph session with the Eagles after the game.
