Marks Leads AU Women's Golf Team at Capital

Paced by Meghan Marks’ sixth-place finish, the Ashland University women’s golf team finished seventh out of 12 teams at the Capital Purple and White Invitational, Friday-Saturday, April 2-3. The event was held at the Foxfire Golf Club in Lockbourne OH.

Wilmington won the team crown with a score of 696. Otterbein was the runnerup (713) with Baldwin-Wallace (723) taking third. Ashland’s team score was 768.

Otterbein’s Colleen Groomes was the medalist. She shot 164. Marks finished at 173.
