Eagles Fifth at AU Invitational

The Ashland University men’s golf team finished in a tie for fifth place at the 2004 AU Invitational, held Monday, Apr. 5 at the Ashland Country Club.

Grand Valley State won the team title with a score of 300. Northwood (309) was second and Findlay (311) finished third. Walsh (315) came in fourth and Ashland, Gannon and Wayne State tied for fifth at 316.

Adam Hlivko shot 77 to pace the Eagles.

Gannon’s Dave Patronik and Walsh’s Chris Saltmarsh led the individual race. Both shot 73. Saltmarsh won medalist honors thanks to a playoff.
