AU Men Golfers Fifth

The Ashland University men’s golf team came home with a fifth place finish from the Oiler Spring Classic, hosted by the University of Findlay, Apr. 9-10. The event was held at Sycamore Springs/Red Hawk Run. Ferris State carded a team score of 581 to pace the 14-team field. Wayne State (604) was the runnerup and Grand Valley State (611) came in third. Adam Hlivko shot 149 to pace the Eagles, who had a team score of 616. Kyle Swigart was next in line at 153. Alex Balog of Ferris State led the race for individual honors, shooting 141. |
