Davidson Named GLIAC Pitcher of the Week

Ashland University freshman Josh Davidson (Lexington, OH) has been named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference pitcher of the week for Apr. 12.

Davidson helped AU to a 4-2 week last week by pitching six shutout innings to beat Northwood. The rookie righthander was the starting pitcher as AU downed Northwood, 11-0. He allowed five hits with two strikeouts and a walk. The triumph upped Davidson’s record to 4-2.

Davidson also helped the Eagles at the plate by batting .385 last week with three RBI.

The Eagles are 27-9, 9-3 in GLIAC play.
