The Ashland University baseball staff will host its annual winter clinics on Dec. 21-22 and Dec. 28-29. The clinics will be held each day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Ashland University’s Conard Field House. The clinics are open to boys ages 7-18/grades 2-12.

Each participant will receive a t-shirt. Participants should bring their own gloves, lunch and drinks. Each camper must have accident insurance.

The AU clinics have a number of unique features. Participants will receive instruction from the AU coaching staff and players and have the opportunity to use pitching machines, batting practice tees, pitching mounds, soft toss areas, a batting practice tunnel and a tartan surface that’s ideal for infield practice. Campers will receive individual analysis of their hitting and have the availability of a radar gun.

Cost per camper is $65 per session and each session lasts two days. To register, or to receive more information, contact Ashland University head baseball coach John Schaly, 419-289-5444 (office), 419-281-7826 (home).
