Seder Signs With
AFL's Philadelphia Soul |

Ashland University assistant football coach Tim Seder has signed a contact to kick with the Arena Football League’s Philadelphia Soul. Seder, an AU graduate and former kicker with the Eagles, was one of six kickers to try out with the team on Wednesday (March 16). He’s expected to be in uniform on Sunday (March 20) when the Soul hosts the Tampa Bay Storm. An Ashland native, Seder was a first team All-Midwest Intercollegiate Football Conference pick in 1997 when Ashland won the league championship and advanced to the NCAA Division II playoffs. He kicked in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars. Seder spent this past season working under head coach Lee Owens at AU. |
