AU Softball Team Announces Schedule Changes

Mother Nature has wreaked havoc with the AU softball schedule. Due to unplayable field conditions, the Eagles’ home opener with Walsh, originally scheduled for Wednesday (Mar. 23), has been postponed. No makeup date has been set.

Additionally, the GLIAC-GLVC Challenge, scheduled to take place this weekend (Mar. 25-26) in Battle Creek, MI, has been cancelled.

Ashland will instead travel to Louisville, KY, on Thursday (Mar. 24) to play a doubleheader against Bellarmine, beginning at 2 p.m. local time.

On Friday (Mar. 25), AU will head to Southern Indiana in Evansville, IN, where the Eagles will play one game against Kentucky Wesleyan and one against the host school, with the action getting underway at noon local time.

Weather permitting, the trip will draw to a close on Saturday (Mar. 26) with another game with Southern Indiana.
