The Mercyhurst-Ashland baseball doubleheader scheduled for Sunday, April 3, at AU's Donges Field was called due to snow left on the field from Saturday's storm. The official word came down just before 2 p.m., on Sunday. The teams had hoped to play a single game at 5 p.m., but poor field conditions put an end to those plans. The Eagles are still looking to play their first Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game. The schedule calls for that to occur this coming Wednesday (April 6), when the Eagles visit Hillsdale for a doubleheader. |
