Slonkosky Named to
All-GLIAC Women's Golf Team |

Ashland University junior Maggie Slonkosky (Minster, OH) has been named to the All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference second team. Slonkosky is the lone AU player to make the all-conference list. The GLIAC selected six golfers each for the first and second team and an additional five players earned honorable mention status. Slonkosky was fifth at the AU Invitational this spring. At the GLIAC championship meet, hosted by AU at the Country Club of Ashland, she had the Eagles’ best finish, placing 11th. All six players on the GLIAC first team came from either Grand Valley State or Ferris State. Grand Valley State’s Melissa Sneller was named the player of the year and GVSU’s Lori Stinson is the GLIAC coach of the year. Ashland is coached by Pam Leonard. |
