Ashland University will sponsor its annual “Take a Kid to The Game,” on Saturday, Dec. 10, when the Eagle men and women’s basketball teams host Findlay at Kates Gymnasium. The women’s game will tip off at 1 p.m., with the men’s game to follow at 3 p.m.

This promotion allows kids to have an opportunity to experience the game-day excitement of college basketball. Youth ages 14 and younger will receive a free ticket with the purchase of a full-priced adult ticket to watch the Eagles play Findlay.

Ashland University is hosting one of more than 700 games to be played across the nation this season as part of the NCAA’s Take a Kid to The Game program. The program is a grass roots initiative that attracts the nation’s youth and encourages adults to take kids to area college basketball games.
