AU Women’s Basketball to Host Summer Day Camp, Team Shootouts

Head coach Sue Ramsey and the Ashland University women’s basketball team will host a day camp and team shootouts once again this summer. The day camp will take place June 26-29. The shootouts will be contested June 30-July 2 and July 5-7.

The day camp is open to girls entering grades 3-8 in fall 2006. It will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at AU’s Kates Gymnasium. Each camper will receive an Ashland University basketball, instruction from AU coaches and players, awards, evaluations and more. Limited space is available. Two sessions of shootouts will be held each of the six days, except for July 2 when only a late session will be available. The sessions are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sessions for freshman, junior varsity and varsity squads will be provided.
