Schedule Set for Women's Basketball NCAA Regional Tournament

The full schedule has been set for the NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Great Lakes regional tournament, hosted by Drury.

The Ashland University Eagles, the seventh seed in the tournament, will oppose second-seeded Grand Valley State on Friday (Mar. 10) at 3 p.m. That’s one of four games to be played that day.

Ashland and Grand Valley State shouldn’t need to take a lot of time preparing scouting reports. This is the third time this season the teams have clashed. The last meeting came in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship game last weekend. GVSU won that game, 76-58. Earlier in the year, the Lakers topped the Eagles in Ashland, 74-59.

Friday, March 10
1 p.m. – Northern Kentucky (26-4/3rd seed) vs. Michigan Tech (19-8/6)
3 p.m. – Grand Valley State (27-3/2) vs. Ashland (21-10/7)
6 p.m. – Drury (28-2/1) vs. Quincy (20-9/8)
8 p.m. – Lake Superior State (21-7/4) vs. Lewis (18-10/5)
Saturday, March 11
Semifinal Games 6 and 8 p.m.
Monday, March 13
Championship Game, 7 p.m.
