Basketball Camp of Champions Set for June 18-21

The 2006 Roger Lyons Basketball Camp of Champions will be held June 18-21 (Sunday-Wednesday), at Ashland University.

This session is open to boys ages 8-18. Instruction will center around the fundamentals of basketball. Players will also compete in 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 games. There will also be free throw and hot shot competitions.

The camp is directed by AU head basketball coach Roger Lyons. Campers will receive personalized instruction from the AU basketball staff and current and former players. All campers receive a camp t-shirt and personal evaluation sheets. The week includes a movie night and a swim night. All campers will receive a camp certificate and at the end of the week, several coaches awards will be presented.

Cost is $325 for overnight campers and $275 for commuters. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required. Boys registering before May 15 will receive a $20 discount. The camp will be full after the 150th registration.
