Eagles-West Liberty Baseball Twinbill Canceled; Team Nationally, Regionally Ranked

The Ashland University-West Liberty baseball doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday, March 29, at West Liberty has been postponed. The twinbill may be rescheduled later in the year.

In this week’s National College Baseball Writers Association National Top 25 poll, the Eagles (21-4) are ranked ninth. That’s AU’s highest ranking of the season. Ashland is ranked first in the North Central region.

Last weekend the Eagles won three of four games at Mercyhurst. AU’s next games are this weekend (April 1-2) when the Eagles play four games at Northwood.
