Admission Requirements
Ashland University's Academic Honors Program is intended for academically talented students. These students generally meet the following criteria:
First Year Students:

High school GPA of 3.5 or higher
- ACT composite score of 27 or above OR SAT score (combined critical reading and math) of 1200 or above
- Optional interview with Honors Director
- Completed application form with essay
Transfer Students: 
- Overall university GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Letter of recommendation from college faculty member
- Optional interview with Honors Director

Current AU Students:
- Overall university GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Letter of recommendation from AU faculty member
- Interview with Honors Director
