Dr. Christopher N. Swanson is an Associate Professor of Mathematics who began his teaching career at Ashland University in 1999 . He received his B.S. from Denison University and his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan .   As an undergraduate, he was a student leader of the Honors Program and completed an Honors thesis in mathematical logic.  His current research interests are combinatorics and probability.  In 2006, Chris received the national Henry L. Alder Award from the Mathematical Association of America in recognition for distinguished teaching by a beginning mathematics faculty member.  In his spare time, Chris enjoys watching movies with his wife, playing disc golf with his children, and attending Honors Society events.

Nancy Andres received her B.S. in Personnel Management from the Richard T. Farmer School of Business at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.  As an undergraduate, she served as a Resident Assistant for freshmen students.  Nancy currently lives in Lucas, Ohio and her varied work experience prior to coming to AU includes positions in health care, marketing research, agriculture, and libraries. Nancy serves in an advisory capacity for many local organizations including Lucas Local Schools. In her spare time, Nancy enjoys reading, riding her bike, and spending time with her family.
