How ACCESS Works
- You will take an English placement test when you arrive
- You will be placed in classes based on your test results
Level 1 – Special attention on improving English sentence structures, grammar and necessary vocabulary
Level 2 – Special attention on mastering English sentence structures and grammar; Special attention on improving English listening, speaking skills and expanding vocabulary
Level 3 – Special attention on building fluency in written and spoken English; Special attention on developing a professional vocabulary
Level 4 – Special attention on building accuracy in written and spoken English, especially for academic purposes; Special attention on consolidating an advanced productive vocabulary; Opportunity to begin academic coursework after one semester in Level 4
