International students who are on F or J visas and are accepted for admission are automatically considered for scholarship based on their U.S. equivalent high school grade point average prior to entering Ashland University. There is not a separate application. Students who receive a government grant are not eligible for an academic scholarship.
An academic scholarship will be applied to a student’s bill for tuition and fees and the amount of the scholarship will be listed on the I-20 Form of DS-2019 Form. The scholarship is available for up to five years provided the student meets the standards in the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy for financial aid. The academic scholarship is not available for summer school, graduate study (Master’s degree), or intensive English language study.
