Fall Opening 2008
Information on this page is intended primarily for new students.
Please see our Frequently Asked Questions about new student housing here.
UPDATE (July 1, 2008)
By now virtually all housing assignments have been e-mailed. If you have not received yours, then you most likely fit into one of the following categories:
- We e-mailed it to you before your AU e-mail account was created and so you were unable to receive it;
- You recently applied and we are working on it;
- You have not yet completed all of your forms with the Office of Admission and therefore we cannot house you; or
- You have requested to live with a student who has not yet applied, and so we are holding your contract with the hope that we can get you with your friend in the near future.
Please contact us to see which category you most like are in.
UPDATE (June 18, 2008)
By now many students have received their Ashland University e-mail address and password. Please note that your password is au-IDNUMBER, so au-0123456. Note that "au-" MUST be in lower case.
On Friday afternoon (June 20), we will e-mail your housing assignment information to your AU account.
The residence halls open for new students at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2008. You should report to the lobby of your residence hall for check-in.
New students will receive a postal letter with their Ashland University e-mail address and password early June. Housing assignments will be e-mailed to that AU e-mail account mid-June. This message will include your hall and room assignment, campus phone number, campus mailbox and mailing address, and roommate name and contact information. We encourage you to contact your roommate in advance so that you can coordinate the items you each intend to bring.
If you have not already done so, register for a Summer Drive-In session. You can do that through the undergraduate admission application site. Please contact the Office of Student Activities and Orientation at (419) 289-5325 or Jennifer Washock at jwashock@ashland.edu if you have questions about Summer Drive-Ins.
