My philosophy education has been invaluable to me, though, because it taught me how to think in a way that I would not necessarily have learned otherwise. I use the reasoning skills and concepts that I learned in philosophy classes every day in order to make stronger arguments myself and evaluate the arguments that others make, which is particularly helpful for the work that I do evaluating social policies.
