Tricia Trimble has been married seventeen years to Dr. Andrew Trimble, and they a daughter, Katy, who is now three. They moved to the Ashland area in July 2009. Prior to this, she attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale (SIUC) and earned a bachelor of science degree in zoology in 2004 and a master of science degree in zoology with an emphasis in environmental toxicology in 2007. After her degree, she worked as a researcher at the Fisheries and Illinois Aquaculture Center and Cooperative Wildlife Research Laboratory at SIUC. She is now employed at AU as a biological science technician. Her research interests include studying the adverse effects of contaminants on the environment, as well as ethology and animal husbandry. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, observing wildlife and being outdoors.
