Ashland Community

Ashland University will hold its 2011 Martin Luther King Jr. Convocation on Jan. 17. The event, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 7 p.m. in Ashland University’s Jack and Deb Miller Chapel, located on the corner of King Road and College Avenue.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes meets every Tuesday evening in the lower chapel of the Jack & Deb Miller Chapel on the Ashland University campus.  They have a variety of special guest speakers throughout the semester and offer many small groups as well as a prayer meeting on Wednesday mornings.  Everyone is welcome to attend - you do not need to be an athlete to attend!

Newman Catholic Ministry meets every Monday in the lower chapel of the Jack & Deb Miller Chapel on the Ashland University.  Everyone is invited to attend.

 

The Well takes place weekly in the upper chapel of the Jack & Deb Miller Chapel on the Ashland University campus.  Everyone is invited to attend these weekly worship times that feature a special speaker and topic each week.

What happens when you combine plastic tubes, laundry tubs, musical instruments, and a bunch of classic songs? Plastic Musik! Plastic Musik is an abstract percussion show that combines innovative instrumentation with high energy and unpredictable theatrics to bring you an enjoyable experience that you are unlikely to forget. Free and open to the public!

Ashland University to Hold February Christian Concert

 ASHLAND, Ohio – The Ashland University Center of Religious Life will be sponsoring a February concert that will feature Christian rock band BarlowGirl and opening group Me In Motion. The concert will be held on February 4th at 8 PM. in Hugo Young Theatre.

The Ashland Center for Nonviolence to host an Ugly Sweater Party in Celebration of  Human Rights Day 

What's better than food, music and games? Eating food, listening to music, and playing games in an ugly sweater!
