Peter Slade teaches courses in the History of Christianity and Christian Thought. He received a doctorate degree in Religious Studies from the University of Virginia. Prior to studying at UVa, Slade earned an M.A. in Southern Studies from the University of Mississippi and a B.D. with Honours in Christian Ethics and Practical Theology from St. Andrews University, Scotland. He also studied community work at Ruskin College, Oxford.
Dr. Marla Butke is Associate Professor of Music at Ashland University and serves as the Coordinator of Music Education. She received a bachelor’s degree in music education from Miami University, a master’s degree in music education from Wright State University and a doctorate in music education from The Ohio State University. Dr. Butke has taught general and choral music in public and private schools in Dayton and served as the music education specialist at Ohio Wesleyan University.
Jack Miller Stadium, part of the new Dwight Schar Athletic Complex, provides Ashland University fans and the Ashland Community with a one-of-a-kind college game day experience. The Ashland University Athletic Department in conjunction with Safety Services asks for all attendees’ cooperation in order to provide convenient parking during home games.
Jayne E. Waterman specializes in nineteenth-century, twentieth-century, and contemporary American Literature and Culture with an emphasis on Modernism.
