Q: What are the admission requirements to the Master of Education (M.Ed.) program?

  1. Completed Application for Admissions form submitted to the Cleveland Center
  2. $25 application fee
  3. Official transcript/s showing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  4. Cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or above (4.0 system), or a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 with a 2.75 or above average in education or major subject field.
  5. A photocopy of your State of Ohio provisional certfication or license.
  6. A letter stating teaching experience from the superintendent or principal of the employing school district; for a non-certified/non-licensed individual having a grade point average of 2.75, two letters of recommendation are required.
  7. A personal interview with the Center Director, a Center administrator, or program team leader.

 

Q: How can I find out what classes I have remaining to complete my degree?

Current students may obtain a program evaluation using WebAdvisor.  This report will show courses completed and courses remaining for your current degree program.

Q: How can I request an Ashland University official transcript?

You can request a transcript by printing a transcript request form from the registrar's webpage.  You can mail or fax the completed transcript request form to AU's main campus using the information on the form.  Go to transcript request form

Q: How can I change my home address in Ashland's system?

Using WebAdvisor, under Academic Profile, go to My Profile, scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see Address Change.  Select and make the appropriate changes there.  Go to WebAdvisor
