Bio

Dr. Khushwant Pittenger, professor of business management, joined Ashland University in 1987.  She earned her B.A. (honors) and Post-Graduate Diploma in international trade from Punjab University, India,  her MBA in business management from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio and Ph.D. in business administration from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio.  Currently she directs the Internship Program of the college for the BSBA degree and also directs the COBE in Taiwan program.  As a Fulbright Scholar, she taught in Birla Institute of Technology, Goa Campus, India in Spring 2012. In the past, she has served as Faculty Senate President and Interim Dean of the College of Business and Economics.  She has served on numerous committees and consulted with area companies on issues related to management.  She has presented over two dozen papers at regional, national and international conferences and has published articles in refereed journals and local newspapers.  Her case on leadership annually sells over 1,000 copies internationally.
