Dear Graduates:
I wish to personally congratulate each one of you and to extend congratulations from the faculty, administration and staff of Ashland University to those of you who will receive either undergraduate or graduate degrees this winter. This is what you have worked hard to achieve and have looked forward to since enrolling at Ashland. You and your family have a right to be proud. We all look forward to recognizing your achievement at the Commencement ceremony on May 11, 2013, at 10 a.m.
The Spring Commencement ceremony will be held at the Dwight Schar Athletic Complex's Miller Stadium off Broad Street. The ceremony will be for undergraduate and graduate students and will begin at 10 a.m.

The ceremony for graduate students will be held in Hugo Young Theatre and each graduate student will be given four tickets to allow his or her family to attend the ceremony. Overflow seating for the undergraduate ceremony will be available in the Student Center Eagles’ Nest, the Student Center Auditorium and the Chapel, where the undergraduate ceremony will be broadcast live at each venue.
A Commencement day luncheon will be held to honor all of Ashland’s graduates. On behalf of the University, I am pleased to invite you (the graduate) and two members of your family to be our guests for the luncheon, which will be served immediately following the ceremony in Myers Convocation Centerif the ceremony is held outdoors at Miller Stadium. In the event of rain, the luncheon for undergraduate students will be held in lower Convocation Center and the Rec Center, while the luncheon for graduate students will be served in Redwood Hall. Additional guests will be served for a fee. You are now entering a new stage in your life and becoming a member of the Ashland University Alumni Association. Alumni continue to make a difference in so many ways through their support of the Alumni Fund and equally important through the assistance of telling others about Ashland. Alumni rank as one of the strongest influencers as far as recruiting new students. Again, congratulations on your achievements and we look forward to sharing this special day with you.
