Community Care

What is Community Care? 

Community Care is a student organization that plans and participates in community service activities throughout the Ashland community.  Our mission is to provide the Ashland University community with service opportunities to expand their social and educational experiences.  Community Care strives to create an atmosphere of life-long service to others and an understanding of social responsibility. 

History of the Organization:

Community Care, a student-directed service organization, began at Ashland University in November 1989.  Since that time, many students, faculty, and staff have volunteered their time and energy toward the service of others.

Mission Statement:

The mission of Community Care is to provide Ashland University, including students, faculty, and staff, with service opportunities to expand their social and educational experiences.  In addition, Community Care strives to create an atmosphere of lifelong service to others and an undestanding of social responsibility.
