Hunger Team

Mission Statement:  The Hunger Team exists to educate the population of AU about hunger in our community and world.  We strive to make students aweare that hunger affects people not only across the globe, but within our community.  We work to alleviate hunger through direct service in the community, as well as through fund-raising for global organizations that work with impoverished people across the world. 

What they do:

30- hr Famine

Crop Walk

Hunger Banquet

Empty-Bowls

Serves food at soup kitchens

Distributes food to local Ashland families

Weekly Events: Spring semester 08'--Every saturday meet outside the mailroom at 8:15 am to serve breakfast at Emmanuel Methodist United Church.  Lasts until about 10:30am.
